Hi! Nice to meet you!

Hello! My name is Vanessa (my friends call me Vanna), and I am a creative designer with a bachelor's in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications with a minor in Business Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. 

Art has always played a major role in my life, especially as a kid. That creative drive ultimately shaped my career path into what it is today. My favorite part of design is the problem-solving. The ongoing challenge of figuring out how to effectively communicate a message or feeling, always keeps me on my toes!

In my free time, you’ll find me baking (chocolate chip cookies are my absolute fave. I think my recipe is the best and will send it if you ask), volunteering at PAWS Chicago, binging Modern Family, taking walks with my dog Polka, traveling to different places (fun fact I studied abroad in Switzerland), AND eating lots and lots of good food :)

I’m originally from Austin and just recently moved to Chicago. Yes, going from 110-degree summers to -20 degree winters definitely gave me whiplash.
